Hello to the future prospective project partners and/or the random Internet visitors who happened to stumble across this website!

I founded the Green Fire Company in the immediate aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic as a way to pivot my my extensive experience in infectious disease research support, my public health education, and my many years of public-facing technical support into building a medical writing profession that is dedicated to providing clear and evidence-based communications. My work is aimed at providing avenues for health care professionals and expert researchers to share their work with wider audiences.

I care deeply about the One Health Initiative and the inter-connectedness of animal, human, and environmental health. Exploring the relationships among us and finding ways to bridge the communication and information silos inherent in these specialties is particularly fulfilling. I am currently assisting with several projects on this topic in an editorial role and am always happy to discuss this topic further. One Health can be found everywhere.

As a professional writer in the medical world, it is also imperative to stay abreast of the latest technological developments. For the past several years, I have been working extensively with clients on the ever-expanding possibilities of Artificial Intelligence and its responsible applications in health care and research, particularly within the geriatric medicine specialty. My portfolio includes several writing samples on this topic, and more are available on request. I have found this to be a a fascinating space with a great deal of potential, and responsible applications of this technology could greatly enhance the capability of the health care system.
